This notice explains how Bud Leiser handles information submitted through budleiser.com. It covers game feedback, the public contact form, newsletter signup, recruiting applications and referrals, consulting intake, and links to outside services.
Information the site collects
- Game feedback: your name, email address, message, the game-build filename attached to the feedback button you selected, and technical details that help reproduce bugs: browser and device information, viewport and screen size, language, timezone, a shortened network prefix, and a one-way network fingerprint. The exact IP address is processed briefly to create the shortened prefix and fingerprint but is not copied into the feedback email or private feedback file. No third-party geolocation lookup is used.
- Contact and consulting inquiries: your name, email address, selected interest, and message.
- Recruiting referrals: the referrer's name and email address, the referred person's name and public profile link, and an optional job-relevant note. The form asks referrers not to submit another person's private contact details without permission.
- Recruiting applications: the applicant's professional name and email address, selected role, country and time zone, public portfolio and work links, job-relevant ownership and launch evidence, availability, relevant work restrictions, and confirmation of the stated commercial terms and this notice. Applicants are instructed not to submit identity, banking, tax, health, family, or other unrelated sensitive information.
- Newsletter signup: your email address and the date and time it was added.
- Project intake: the package you selected and the project information you choose to submit.
- Basic technical records: the hosting provider may keep ordinary server and security logs, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and requested page.
- Human-verification signals: the form-security service briefly processes the site origin, IP address, browser user-agent, and slider movement timing to issue and validate a short-lived proof. Those signals are not added to the contact or newsletter record.
How the information is used
- To review game feedback, identify the build and technical environment involved, reproduce bugs, recognize repeated abuse, and follow up when useful.
- To answer inquiries, verify an order, schedule calls, and provide requested services.
- To review recruiting referrals and contact the referrer about a possible introduction.
- To administer recruiting applications, verify job-relevant evidence, arrange human review, and communicate about the selected contractor role.
- To send Bud Leiser updates to people who sign up for the newsletter.
- To protect the forms and site from spam, abuse, and security problems.
- To keep records reasonably needed for project delivery, accounting, and legal obligations.
Where it goes
Contact-form messages, recruiting applications, recruiting referrals, and game feedback are sent through the site's hosting and email providers to Bud Leiser. Game feedback is mailed to the private team feedback inbox and also stored in a private fallback file above the public website directory. Newsletter addresses are stored in the site's hosting account, and a signup notification is attempted to Bud's email account. These providers process information to operate the site and email service. Personal information is not sold or displayed publicly.
Payments are handled on PayPal. This site does not receive or store your full card or PayPal login details. PayPal applies its own privacy notice and transaction controls.
If a project uses an external collaboration, file-transfer, or AI service, that workflow and any client material sent to it will be addressed in the project agreement or approved with the client. Do not send confidential files through the public forms.
Cookies, analytics, and outside links
This site does not currently use advertising or audience-analytics cookies. Links to PayPal, itch.io, Discord, Atlas Treasury, and other outside services take you to services with their own privacy practices and cookies.
Retention and your choices
Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired. Game feedback, diagnostic details attached to feedback, inquiry, and project records are kept only as reasonably needed for product improvement, follow-up, service delivery, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations.
To unsubscribe, correct information, or ask for deletion, use the contact form and identify the email address involved. Write unsubscribe, correction, or deletion request in the message. Reasonable identity verification may be required before changing or deleting records.
Changes
If the site's data practices materially change, this notice will be updated before the new practice is used for newly collected information.
